I AM WILD: A Charley Harper Exhibit Opening Weekend

Join us for the opening day of our new exhibit, I AM WILD: A Charley Harper Exhibit, where you can explore six habitats filled with the colorful animals, insects and birds inspired by the artwork of Charley Harper and the ‘I Am Wild’ series of children’s books about biodiversity.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 25
Enjoy music and stories by double bass soloist Barry Green about the animals in Charley Harper’s artwork.
11:30 am & 12:30 pm
Learn about animals through their tracks, fur, feathers and scales. Stop by to earn a Charley Harper Habitat Badge!
10:00 am – 5:00 pm
SUNDAY, JANUARY 26
Have some live animal encounters with our friends from Living Treasures Animal Park and learn how the animals relate to Charley Harper’s art.
11:00 am – 3:00 pm
I Am Wild: A Charley Harper Exhibit was created by Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh in partnership with Charley Harper Art Studio.
