Help us kick off summer with two awesome community events:

Children's Museum Free Day - free admission from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Explore the Children's Museum's exhibits including Hands-On Harley-Davidson, as well as these activities: [!image]

  • 10:00 am - 3:00 pm: Have a Modern Art Experience with New York based Pop Artist Michael Albert in Buhl Community Park. Autographed posters while supplies last. Learn about Michael at: www.michaelalbert.com
  • 10:00 am - 4:30 pm: Explore light and dark with high contrast art making in the Art Studio
  • 10:00 am - 4:30 pm: Build with natural materials in MAKESHOP

Parking is available at Gate 6 of Nova Place. Bring your parking receipt to the front desk and redeem it for a $5 parking ticket to exit the Garage.

3rd annual Allegheny SolarFest, a 100% solar-powered event to celebrate the power of the sun and find out how to go solar.

10:00 am - 3:00 pm in Buhl Community Park

Electric vehicle car show, food trucks, music and information on solar, energy efficiency, solar-powered aquaponics, efficient solar home design, community solar projects and ways to strengthen Pennsylvania’s renewable energy laws.

Outdoor entertainment powered by Zero Fossil:

  • 1:45 - 3:00 pm: Brad Yoder
