Join us in front of the museum to view a solar eclipse and celebrate the sun. On Monday, August 21st, 2017 the "All American" Eclipse will pass through the United States, starting from Salem, Oregon and ending in Charleston, South Carolina. The Children's Museum will be able to see a partial eclipse, where almost 80% of the sun is covered by the moon!

  • Hear traditional eclipse folktales from around the world, story time starts at 1:30pm
  • Grab a pair of viewing glasses to safely see the Eclipse in action- one pair per family, while supplies last
  • Make your own pin hole projector in MAKESHOP

Warning: Never look at the sun without special eye protection. When viewing the eclipse, use eclipse glasses at all times.
