STORY TIME: Braille Literacy Month in Studio

Story Time

January 17, 2018

Join us in the Art Studio for Braille Story Time with our guest reader, Joyce Driben. Together we’ll read stories and explore braille.

This program is presented as part of Braille Literacy Month. Braille is a code of raised dots to make text readable for individuals with low vision. It is named after it’s inventor, Louis Braille, who was born on January 4, 1809 and lost his sight as a child. January has been declared Braille Literacy Month to celebrate his life and honor his legacy.
