A Frog's Guide to Becoming Human is an adaptation of the classic fairy tale The Frog Prince told from the perspective of other frogs in the well where the princess has dropped her golden ball. To tell the story, installation artist Isaac Levine and puppeteer Patrick Elkins have construct a number of luminary and mechanical items of interest, including robots and shadow puppets. It is a transformative work that doubles as an instructional piece for frogs and other tailless amphibians who wish to become human. It also a silly modernist drama for mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, minerals, and vegetables to enjoy in a recreational setting. While this play may be of limited interest to certain bacterium, carbon-based audiences of all phylums and ages should be capable of appreciating its carefully constructed message of instruction.

No frogs were harmed or consulted during the production of this play.
