Summer Adaptive Dance Class

Featured Programs & Events

June 29, 2019

Presented by the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre

Themed around classic story ballets, our adaptive dance classes are designed for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other sensory sensitivities.

We emphasize creative movement principles and modified ballet technique in a welcoming and structured studio environment. Classes are taught by PBT School instructors experienced in adaptive dance and are limited to 15 students. Live music/percussion accompanies each class. Caregivers may observe and/or participate in classes if they wish.

Every Saturday June 1 - July 6

Ages 6-12 | 1:45 - 2:30 p.m.
Ages 13-21 | 2:45 - 3:30 p.m.

In the Assembly Hall of Museum Lab

Registration now open! Cost is $40 per semester.

You will need to create an account for MindBody before they will let you register for the class. The summer session will cost $40 for the six sessions in Museum Lab's brand-new Assembly Hall.  This can be paid online through the MindBody website or app. Please keep in mind that we are limiting both classes to 15 students, so you will want to register your student as soon as possible.
