Workshop for Ages 11-14: Rocketry 101

Youth/Teen Workshop Series for Ages 11 - 14

March 31, 2021

Master the fundamentals of rocketry and aerodynamics using household materials. Participants can build, test and refine rocket designs by applying the principles of thrust, drag, center of pressure and inertia.

In this live workshop, you will design, build, and test paper rockets indoors, then learn an extension activity to propel them over long distances, outdoors.

We ship the supplies you need after registration.

Please have scissors, clear tape and computer paper for the workshop.

Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh believes that cost should never be a barrier to inspiring kindness, joy, creativity and curiosity.  We offer a sliding ticket price model to accommodate all learners.

Registration deadline is March 16, 2021. Register here.
