We offer three different Spring Break Workshops from April 3 – 7, 2023.
All materials and safety equipment are included. Space is limited.

Children’s Museum members receive 20% off each workshop.
To receive the member price, please use code MEMWORK$2. Membership will be verified when you visit.
Workshops do not include general admission to the Children’s Museum or MuseumLab.

Color
Monday, April 3
10:30 am – 12:30 pm
At Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh
Explore color through a variety of mediums like paint and light! Create artwork to take home with you.
Facilitation for this workshop will be available in both English and Spanish.
Explore colores con una variedad de medios como pintura y luz! Cree obras de arte para llevarte a casa. La facilitación de este taller estará disponible en inglés y en español.
Note: A parent or caregiver must attend with each child registered for a K – 2 grade workshop and is included in the child workshop ticket.

Sewing Camp
April 4 – 6

At MuseumLab
Learn all about sewing machines, try your hand at embroidery and create several small projects to test and show off your new skills. This camp is designed for beginners, so all you need is an interest in trying something new!

Design Challenge: Earth Day
Friday, April 7

At Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh
How can we better take care of the planet? Through discussion and drawing, families will focus on a current problem the Earth has, brainstorm solutions, and design and prototype a tool or device to solve the problem. Will it work?
