Black History Month Art Crawl

Join us for our second annual Black History Month Art Crawl!
Contemporary artists stationed throughout the Museum’s first floor will create live portraits and artworks honoring Pittsburgh’s Black heroes, both past and present.
This year’s featured subjects include:
- Pittsburgh’s Freedom Corner
- Dr. Vernell Lillie, Founder of Kuntu Repertory Theater
- Robert Lee Vann, publisher and editor of the Pittsburgh Courier
- Baseball player Josh Gibson of the Homestead Grays and Pittsburgh Crawfords
- Performer and civil rights activist Lena Horne
- Multimedia professional Emmai Alaquiva
- Hill Dance Academy Theater and founder Dr. Ayisha Morgan-Lee
- Dr. Harry Clark, founder of Pittsburgh CAPA
- Wilkinsburg Mayor Dontae Comans
