gifts in your will
Many supporters of the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh chose to leave a donation in their will or living trust to increase their long-term impact, without incurring any upfront costs during their lifetime. A gift in your will is often the simplest route to your legacy, ensuring that the Children’s Museum can spark joy and curiosity for many years to come.
Are you already working with an attorney on your will or living trust? You can complete your gift in as little as one sentence:

beneficiary designation - non-probate assets
While some prefer to leave a gift in their wills or estates, others appreciate the increased flexibility of a beneficiary designation. This is when you plan who will receive assets not in your will – called non-probate assets. These may include an IRA, 401(k), life insurance policy, commercial annuity or donor advised fund.
Designating Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets can make a big impact and may avoid unwanted taxes for your heirs. You can use this online tool to make your plans.
