If an event is cancelled less than 6 months prior to the event the Children’s Museum will retain the full deposit amount as a cancellation fee.

Some supplies are included the rental cost; please contact our Special Events Manager for a full list. If you need additional supplies, we ask that you use our exclusive supplier, All Occasions Party Rental.
Will I be able to bring in my own caterer?
Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh has a wonderful and diverse preferred catering list which include some of the best known regional caterers. The Museum requires that you select one of these four preferred caterers for your event.
Can preferred caterers provide kosher dishes?
Each caterer has unique capabilities and specialties. We ask that you discuss with each caterer your special needs in effort to find the best fit for your event. In most cases our caterers will be able to work with dietary needs and special requests.
Do I have to spend a minimum with the caterers?
Each caterer’s policies differ and we encourage clients to inquire about minimums during initial conversations with caterers, before making a decision.
