Make Art with the Fiberarts Guild

Learn about the Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh’s  Portals installations, a community-led public art project that transforms everyday public spaces into vibrant expressions of collective artistry with crocheted, knit, woven, embroidered or mixed-media pieces mounted on circular bases like hula hoops or irrigation tubing. Portals is bringing color and joy to indoor and outdoor public spaces across the region!

Visitors can make small pieces based on the circular structures in the installations.
