Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh offers FREE ADMISSION for everyone today in honor of Veterans Day. Enjoy these activities and programs:
All Day
- Write thank you letters to veterans at a Letter Writing Station
- See replicas of a World War II soldier’s items to learn about the equipment they carried and the experiences they went through. Courtesy of Soldiers and Sailors Museum.
- Explore our new exhibit, Aim High: Soaring with the Tuskegee Airmen, where children of all ages can imagine themselves as future aviators through hands-on imaginative play and inspirational artifacts and stories from the past. Aim High was created in partnership with Hosanna House, Inc.
- Learn more about veterans with location organization CIVEASE

- Enjoy storytime with author Chandra Donelson reading her new book, The Data Detective at the Airport
Chandra is CDAO & Director of Data Artificial Intelligence and Software for the U.S. Space Force
2:00 pm
- Learn about the historic Tuskegee Airmen with a presentation and Q&A with the North Coast Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc.
