northside arts block party!

Don’t miss a free celebration of the creativity of our neighborhood hosted by the New Hazlett Theater and featuring community artist organizations including Shiftworks, SLB Radio Productions, City of Asylum, Artist Image Resource, the Children’s Museum and more!

Activities include:

At MuseumLab, Noon – 4:00 pm:

• Free admission
• Make shrink plastic accessories in Make Lab  (This activity uses hot tools and is designed for visitors ages 8 and up)
• Guided art/architecture tours:

• Art walks for kids including a visit to Gymlacium at 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 pm
• Archetecture tour for adults at 2:00 pm
• Art tour for adults at 3;00 pm

Inside and outside the New Hazlett Theater, 2:00 – 6:00 pm:

• Art activities for all ages including suminagashi paper art
• Behind-the-scenes theater tours
• Local food trucks
• Live music
