Summer camps at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and MuseumLab are where kids can explore art, making, storytelling, nature, game design, metalworking and much more!

Camps take full advantage of our award-winning exhibits, art studios, maker spaces and garden, all on the largest children’s campus in the country. Camp programs are developmentally appropriate and fun, and provide enriching experiences that inspire joy, creativity, curiosity and kindness.

Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh seeks to reduce financial barriers by offering a limited number of full and partial summer camp scholarships for families receiving SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) benefits.

The Museum is also proud to offer free metalworking camps for Pittsburgh Public School students through the generous support of the Arconic Foundation.

Families are invited to apply for one or both scholarships. You must indicate the age/grade level of the child you are applying for, and the week(s) of camps that you are interested in.  You must present your SNAP EBT card and identification to verify eligibility.

Deadline to apply is March 1, 2023.

Click here to apply for scholarships.

If we are able to offer your child a scholarship, you will be notified by March 15 and receive an email with registration instructions. You must confirm the spot within 5 business days of notification.

If confirmation is not received before the specified deadline, the spot will be offered to another applicant. After March 15, remaining scholarships will be granted on a rolling basis until all spaces are allocated.

If demand exceeds the capacity of our scholarship program, eligible applicants will be selected via lottery.
