Summer Camps 2026
For Ages 4 – 13
June 15 through August 14
Summer camps at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and MuseumLab let kids explore art, making, nature, game design, metalworking and a variety of other topics in a developmentally appropriate way on the largest campus for children in the country.
Weekly camps take full advantage of our award-winning exhibits, art studios, maker spaces and outdoor areas including Buhl Community Park adjacent to the Museum, and include access to specialized tools and equipment.

Camp Rates
The prices listed below are for one child for one camp week:
*Please note the camp week of June 15 – 18 is prorated as it is only offered for 4 days.
Age 4
NONMEMBERS: $300 per week
*MEMBERS: $270 per week
Extended Day Option (2:00 – 4:00 pm) for Age 4:
NONMEMBERS: $100 per week
*MEMBERS: $90 per week
Ages 5 – 13
NONMEMBERS: $400 per week
*MEMBERS: $360 per week
*Member Discount: Children’s Museum members receive 10% off camp rates. Museum members receive a code via email to use at registration to receive this discount (enter in the field “Promo Code”.) Lunch Options
bring your own
Campers are welcome to bring their own lunch. We do not provide refrigeration or heating for camper lunches.
order from Bean Sprouts
You can also choose to order healthy, delicious lunches prepared daily by Bean Sprouts, the Museum’s café. Bean Sprouts lunches can be added onto your summer camp registration at the time of purchase. Lunches must be ordered for the full week and you can indicate allergies, dietary restrictions or sensitivities at registration.

$50/week
Gluten free: $60/week
snacks & water
Healthy snacks will be provided daily. Campers can fill their own water bottles throughout the day.
Scholarships
Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh offers a limited number of the following summer camp scholarships:
- Scholarships for families receiving SNAP benefits to reduce financial barriers
You may be required to present your SNAP EBT card (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) and identification to verify eligibility. - Scholarships for students who attend Manchester Academic Charter School
If the demand for scholarships is larger than the capacity of our scholarship program, eligible applicants will be selected by a lottery.

To Apply:
Fill out the Scholarship Application form online at the link below. You will need to indicate the age of the child you are applying for, and the camp week(s) you are interested in when you apply for a scholarship.
Cancellation policy
Campers can cancel or transfer their camp registration, pending availability, according to this timeline:
April 30
Last day campers can cancel or change their camp registration, pending availability, for a full refund
May 1 – May 31
Camp registration changes or cancellations made in this period will be refunded and charged a $25 fee per camp.
June 1
Camps cancelled on or after this date will not receive a refund.
