Make Lab: Wet Enameling – Ages 9+
Paint with liquid enamels to create a fused glass-and-metal design that can be used as a magnet or pin.
This activity takes place in the Children’s Museum’s neighboring building MuseumLab and is designed for visitors ages 9+.

Sensory Friendly Engineering Design Lab for Youth Ages 8-12
Neurodivergent youth ages 8-12 and their families are invited to join us for a free sensory-friendly morning at MuseumLab!
Try out hands-on engineering and design activities designed with neurodivergent learners in mind and explore interactive museum exhibits before they open to the general public.
Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is part of a research project funded by the National Science Foundation (DRL 2313850) to create activities that are accessible to neurodivergent learners, based on input from youth. Share your thoughts with us and receive a free gift.
