Mask Policy
Due to Allegheny County’s COVID risk level increasing to Medium and following the guidance of local school and health officials, the Children’s Museum and MuseumLab are now following a Masks Required policy. All visitors 2+ and staff are required to wear masks indoors. Masks are available upon request. Thank you for helping us navigate these unprecedented times with respect and kindness.

admission
We have implemented timed ticketing through our online reservation system to limit capacity in the Museum and provide a safe and comfortable visit for all.
We strongly encourage all visitors, including members and children under 2, to have a reserved admission tickets for a specific day and time.
Quantities are limited and may not be available for walk-up visitors.
You may also reserve tickets by calling 412.322.5058, ext 210.
Entry Time:
While we understand that precise timing may not be possible all the time with young children and families, we ask that you arrive no more than 15 minutes in advance or no later than 30 minutes after the time of your ticketed entry time. If you arrive earlier than your timed ticket entry time, you may be asked to wait outside. There is no time limit on your visit, you can stay as long as you like.

photo policy
Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh may make, use and publicize photographic and videographic images and audio recordings of Museum visitors in public spaces of the facility, along with their first names and likenesses, for marketing and promoting the Museum, the activities, the Museum’s partners or collaborators, and for other business purposes. Visitors authorize the Museum to engage in such use and publicity without additional payment of any kind to them. Visitors further release, discharge and agree to hold harmless the Museum from any liability that may arise from such use and publicity, including without limitation any claims by visitors for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy.
