Join us in the Studio for a world premier performance of Margo! a play about the life of Margo Lovelace performed  by local puppet group, Puddle Jump!

Margo Lovelace is a local puppeteer who opened the first DIY puppet theatre in the country in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood. After the theater closed and Margo chose to retire, she generously donated her entire puppet collection to the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, many of which are on view daily.

Puddle Jump came to life after a warm spring rain.  When three friends, who love to play and spread joy, came together under the umbrella of puppetry. Though all originally from different towns in Pennsylvania, they now find themselves living in the same Pittsburgh Neighborhood, Garfield.  Together they walk their dogs and howl at the moon.  They love plants, singing, and performing their original puppet shows for the young of heart.

Performances will be at 11:00am and 1:00pm.

This program is included with Museum admission. For Museum admission, please register for tickets by following this link.
