Workshop: Planting and Using Garlic (Grades K-2)

A child and a museum educator are outside in the garden space. The child is holding a small plant and a watering can. The educator has their hands in the garden soil.

Learn the process of planting garlic along with its traditional uses and preparations. You will go home with your own garlic to plant and garlic powder that you ground during the workshop.

This workshop is for children in Kindergarten through Second Grade. A parent or caregiver must attend with the child. 

All materials will be provided.

Please bring warm clothing as part of this workshop will be outdoors.

Workshop cost is $10 for non-members or $8 for members. Museum admission not included.
