F.I.N.E. Arts Weekend: Clay Transformation

Join us for a fun-filled weekend exploring the medium of ceramics!

ALL WEEKEND

• Work on a collaborative clay sculpture
• Create your own pieces out of air-dry clay
• Print on clay
• Learn about firing and glazing processes
• Watch raku firing demonstrations with ceramicist Grace Woolway

SATURDAY ONLY

• Watch ceramicists create hand built and wheel thrown pottery in the Pottery Throw Down Competition and vote for your favorite pieces!
• Try pottery throwing on a bike-powered potter’s wheel, presented by Manchester Craftsman Guild

SUNDAY ONLY

• Try your hand at throwing on the potter’s wheel through a guided demonstration
• See the winners of the hand building and wheel throwing competitions of our Pottery Throw Down
