Nursery: Fine Motor Mondays
Join us in the Nursery to develop muscle strength and hand eye coordination. This week, we will practice stretching rubber bands around pegboards and try making different geometric shapes, small and large.
This program is designed with our youngest visitors in mind, to support brain growth and give them an opportunity to develop muscles in our hands and eyes, but all visitors are welcome to join.

Join us in the Studio to investigate the world around us! This week, we will dissect owl pellets and search for bones. Put your lab coat on and examine why bones end up in these compact pellets!

Nursery Sensory Play: Scent Sachets
Join Aermine and Sabrina in the Nursery to create your own scent sachet with autumnal scents! Children will notice how different smells make us feel and experiment with scent combinations.
We’ll ask questions like, is this sweet? is this stinky?
This program is designed with our youngest visitors in mind, to support cognitive growth and give them an opportunity to develop motor skills, but all visitors are welcome to join. Sensory play can also be calming and soothing.
Join us in the Nursery as we read Hey, Water! by Antoinette Portis, and learn about water in all of its forms. We will also make our own watercolor prints.
