Pride Storytime in the Studio: ‘Twas the Night Before Pride

Join us in the Studio to celebrate Pride Month through story telling. This week, we will read ‘Twas the Night Before Pride  by Joanna McClintick, and make our own ribbon dancers to wave and dance with.

Backyard Sensory Play: Watercolors

Join Aermine and Sabrina in the Backyard for a special edition of Sensory Play: Spray Bottle Water Colors. We’re bringing the water play outside and exploring how we can paint with water. We will spray and see how to water pools in different areas. 

This program is designed with our youngest visitors in mind, to support cognitive growth and give them an opportunity to develop motor skills, but all visitors are welcome to join. Sensory play can also be calming and soothing.

This program will be held outside. In the event of inclement weather, Sensory Play will be held in the Nursery.

Backyard Sensory Play: Bubble Painting

Join Aermine and Sabrina in the Backyard off of the Studio to explore bubbles, color, and air! We will create our own or collaborative art pieces with naturally colored bubbles, while we practice blowing bubbles. 

This program is designed with our youngest visitors in mind, to support cognitive growth and give them an opportunity to develop motor skills, but all visitors are welcome to join. Sensory play can also be calming and soothing.

This will be held outside, weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, Sensory Play will be held in the Nursery.

Join Aermine and Sabrina in the Nursery for a color mixing lab! We will explore water and color to create our own “ideal” color potions to take home. 

This program is designed with our youngest visitors in mind, to support cognitive growth and give them an opportunity to develop motor skills, but all visitors are welcome to join. Sensory play can also be calming and soothing.

Nursery Sensory Play: Light and Color

Explore how colors mix to create new colors! Different forms of light will be available to see how they change the color mixing.

This program is designed with our youngest visitors in mind, to support cognitive growth and give them an opportunity to develop motor skills. Sensory play can also be calming and soothing.

All visitors are welcome to join.

Nursery Sensory Play: Mud Painting

Join Aermine and Sabrina in the Nursery to explore how natural materials can be used to create art! Learners will be able to explore different mud textures and colors to make their own natural masterpieces.

This program is designed with our youngest visitors in mind, to support cognitive growth and give them an opportunity to develop motor skills, but all visitors are welcome to join. Sensory play can also be calming and soothing.

The program will be offered outside if weather permits.

Join Aermine and Sabrina in the Nursery to explore how different forms of clay look, feel, or even smell! Learners can practice molding, sculpting, or squishing the different kinds of clay.
