In honor of Earth Month, join us for a campus-wide recycling festival at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh!

  • Join artists and makers in transforming used items into new creations
  • Visit our upcycled artisans market
  • Contribute to our community can drive
  • Learn about the benefits of recycling

Art Studio: Meet the Maker Linda Wallen

Work with Guest Maker Linda Wallen to create colorful clay tiles. Visit again on June 22nd to help assemble the completed tiles into mosaic paving stones for the Garden!
Linda Wallen is a painter and mosaicist.  Outside of her studio in Spring Hill, she beautifies her neighborhood and the city of Pittsburgh by creating collaborative public mosaics.
This activity is designed for learners of all ages, including adults!

Each Thursday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, children can engage with the garden and explore how we can care for and connect with nature.

This free program is included with museum admission. It is designed for early learners, but all ages are welcome.
