All Ages Workshop: Earth Day Spheres

Join us for a workshop with special guest Karen Toole of And Flowers to make Earth Day Spheres! Karen and her helpers will bring invasive vines that they removed from trees in Pittsburgh’s parks and show us how to wind and twist them into spheres. You can explore the texture of the vines, imagine new ways to use natural materials, and practice using pliers with this fun activity. You will have a chance to learn about forest ecology as well!

All ages welcome! Children must be supervised by a parent or adult caregiver during this event.

This event is free, but please sign up in advance to reserve a spot for each attendee at this link. Walk-up registration occurs on a first-come, first-served basis. Museum admission not included with workshop reservation.
