Workshop for Ages 7-10: Pompoms

April 21, 2021 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Join us to make fluffy, fuzzy pompoms using yarn and a few simple tools. Will you use them for games, home décor, or as a fashion statement?

In this live workshop, we’ll learn how to make a basic pompom, then experiment with different designs, colors and shapes.

This workshop uses materials commonly found at home. Please have these items on hand:

  • Yarn (at least two colors)*
  • scissors that will cut yarn
  • two paper tubes (a paper towel roll cut in half will work)
  • a baking sheet or large bowl (to help catch yarn trimmings)

*participants may need adult assistance to tie knots

Tickets

Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh believes that cost should never be a barrier to inspiring kindness, joy, creativity and curiosity.  We offer a sliding ticket price model to accommodate all learners.

Register here. Registration deadline is April 19, 2021.
