Volunteers & Interns
Children's Museum of Pittsburgh is proud to have a professional, positive team who work to enrich the lives of children and families throughout the Pittsburgh region.
Volunteers and interns play a role in helping the Children’s Museum meet its mission to create innovative museum experiences that inspire joy, creativity and curiosity through activities in the Museum or at Museum outreach events in the community. We endeavor to provide an enriching experience for all volunteers and interns that further their skills, knowledge and experience in the museum world.
Some of the volunteer opportunities we traditionally offer are:
- Adult Volunteers
- Veteran Volunteers
- Youth Volunteers
Adult volunteers and interns must be 18 years of age or older and have FBI, Act 33 and 34 clearances.
We are committed to the fair treatment of our valued employees and volunteers, and are an equal opportunity employer.
