Volunteers & Interns
We invite you to become a volunteer or intern at the Children's Museum! Opportunities are available seven days a week in the Museum and at Museum outreach events in the community. Adult volunteers and interns must be 18 years of age or older and have FBI, Act 33 and 34 clearances.

We offer volunteer opportunities for high school students, including rising 8th graders, to assist visitors in the Museum and help at Museum outreach programs at summer festivals.
Participation in the Summer Teen Volunteer Program is often required for paid employment through Youth Programs at the Museum. Learn more on our Youth Programs page.
Children’s Museum provides a variety of unpaid internships throughout the year for academic credit and practical experience for students in the fields of education, museum experiences, marketing, development and new media. Click here for more details on internship opportunities.
New Media Intern
Produce and post content for the Children's Museum's social media channels and websites, research best practices, collect stats, run promotions for audience engagement and more. Click here for more details.
