F.I.N.E. Artist Workshop with Asaf Elkalai: Cyanotypes

Join F.I.N.E. Art resident, Asaf Elkalai from Israel, for a special workshop on making cyanotypes,a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print.
This free workshop is aimed at educators and adults relating to younger, elementary-school-aged children.
Asaf Elkalai was born in Kerem Ben Zimra, and currently based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Graduated with honors MFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, BA with honors in Photography from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design Jerusalem, and Art Education Diploma from The Hebrew University.
Today he teaches at Ashdod museum and works as a Social Projects Coordinator and Educational Studies Coordinator at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. His work has been exhibited at Tel Aviv museum (2018), Municipal Gallery Arsenal, Poznan (2018), Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv museum (2017) Gabirol Gallery, Tel Aviv (2017) Ticho House for Contemporary Art, Israel Museum (2016), Inga Gallery, Tel-Aviv (2015), Lanserhaus Museum, Eppan (2015), Beit Hansen Gallery, Jerusalem, The Open Museum of Photography, Tel-Hai (2015), Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv Museum (2014), Bezalel final exhbition (2014), Image-Room Gallary, Jerusalem (2013), Sotheby’s Gallery, London (2012). He was participating at the programs Artist Residency Baffalo (2018),Institute of Investigative Living ZA-Z WestAndrea Zittle (2016), Aestathics And Bias in Poland (2014) , EAU & GAZ Artist Residency Eppan (Italy, 2015).
