Silly Faces

For Rent or Sale

This humorous video installation created for Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh by artist Amanda Long lets museum visitors become not only a part of the exhibit, but the entirety of it.  With the push of a button, visitors instantly shoot and upload a 5-second video of themselves making a silly face in a ‘photo booth’ style kiosk. The most recent video is added to the constantly changing grid of faces projected onto a gallery wall. Each video is bumped to the left when a new video is created, resulting in an animated and evolving mosaic.
