Everyone is Welcome at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh
In light of today’s tragedy at the Tree of Life Congregation in Squirrel Hill, Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh would like to offer a place for families to spend quality time together, away from the news.
As such, the Children’s Museum is offering free admission to families from Monday, October 29, through Friday, November 2.
“This is a very emotional time for everyone and the images and sentiments offered in the media can be frightening and overwhelming for children,” says Jane Werner, Executive Director of Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. “We invite families to the Museum to spend quality time together at a safe location, express their feelings and be creative. One of the values of play for families is that it can be very healing, for children and parents alike.”
Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is located on the Northside at 10 Children’s Way, Allegheny Square, Pittsburgh, PA, 15212. The Museum will be open October 29-November 2 from 10:00 am-5:00 pm.
