These camps are for Grades 4 – 5, ages 9 – 10.
The camp day is 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Scholarships for Metalworking Camps
Scholarships are available for the following metalworking camp for Grades 6 – 8 camps for Pittsburgh Public School students through the generous support of the Arconic Foundation:

Intro to Woodworking
Learn how to use different tools to shape, attach and finish wood into new and exciting forms, and create your own wood projects.

Make It Mini
Let’s get tiny! Use your imagination, play with scale and manipulate tools and materials to create amazing miniatures.
July 10-14
Pixar in a Box
Create your own story through writing, art and collaboration, and dive into the Pixar approach to storytelling.
July 17-21
Animation
Explore bringing your stories to life using storyboarding, 2-D and 3-D materials, and stop motion to create your own animation.
July 24-28
Printmaking
Learn a variety of traditional and non-traditional printmaking techniques, from monotypes to silkscreen printing.
July 31-August 4
Art
Explore media, materials and techniques from fiber arts to printmaking, with a focus on how artists communicate ideas and solve problems.
August 7-11
Intro to Metals
Get an introduction to metalworking as you create art with metal through techniques such as wire bending and embossing. Presented by the Arconic Foundation.

Environmental Art
Use natural materials and nature-inspired processes to create unique works of art.
