With the creation of MuseumLab, the largest cultural campus for families in the U.S. will be located right here in Pittsburgh!
We have preserved the charm of the former Carnegie Free Library building by revitalizing much of its original 1890 structure. Many of the original building features that were covered by a remodeling in the 1970s have been uncovered.
We have received Innovative Solutions for Universal Design (isUD) certification from the University of Buffalo.
To ensure a sustainable future, we are on track for fulfilling the following guidelines:
- LEED
- WELL Building
- Pittsburgh 2030 District goals for energy use reduction
