To accommodate all visitors and ensure an enjoyable and comfortable visit, we encourage use of our timed online reservation system. You can reserve tickets for the day and time you wish to visit. Walk-up tickets are also available.

We understand that timing a visit can be challenging with young children and families! If possible, arrive no more than 15 minutes in advance or no later than 30 minutes after your ticketed entry time. There is no time limit on your visit, you can visit as long as you like.

Please reserve free tickets for members and children under two in advance to help ensure a safe and comfortable visit for everyone.
admission discounts and reciprocal admission
We offer a variety of discounts for visitors, including participating in the Museums of All program and offering reciprocal admission through the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) and Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) programs.
Free admission is also provided to any therapeutic support staff, counselor, doctor, therapist or nurse that accompanies a visitor as part of their professional responsibilities. Please provide employee identification at the Admissions Desk to receive admission.

group admission
Admission for groups of 15 or more is $12 per person.
Groups must make a reservation 2 weeks (14 days) in advance of their visit date. For more information on bringing a group to the Children’s Museum or MuseumLab:

Gift cards
You may use gift cards purchased through the Children’s Museum to purchase admission tickets online.
Gift cards purchased at Giant Eagle cannot be redeemed online. To use these gift cards for admission, please call 412.322.5058, ext 210, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
