Every party includes:

• Admission for up to 30 guests (depending on the party space.) Attendee count includes the birthday child and family, as well as children under two.
  More children and adults can be added for an additional cost.
• 2 hours in a party space – plus 30 minutes for set up
• Birthday Associate who will help you:
  o   Set up and clean up the party space
  o   Greet and check in party guests
  o   Host activities, additional fees may apply
• One free parking pass for the birthday child’s family
• Free pass for a return visit for the birthday family

Birthday activities give birthday families and their guests a chance to explore artistic concepts and encourage creativity can be added to your party for an additional cost per participant.

All materials are provided and a Birthday Associate will lead participants through the activity.

Choose from:

Create Your Own Plant Pet
Connect with nature by creating your very own Plant Pet.  Fill a small pot with potting soil and winter rye grass seed. Decorate the pot with googly eyes and stickers to show off your pet’s personality. Water daily and watch as your pet’s hair grows within the week! Good for children ages 5 and up.
$8 per participant

Smush Painting
This “no mess” activity lets children observe cause and effect as they see how paint colors blend to make new, exciting shades. Each painting creates a unique, abstract piece of art you can to take home. Guests can make paintings individually or as a group. Good for children ages 3 and up.
$8 per participant

Paint-By-Numbers
Design a color palette that brings your art to life and take it home in a frame provided by the Museum. Then visit the Art Studio to explore more.  No two pieces look the same and designs can vary in difficulty. This activity is intended for children ages 5 and up, as well as adults.
$8 per participant

Slime
Get squishy with it as you create the slime of your dreams using dyes and mix-ins of all different shapes, sizes and textures. Then decorate the slime’s container to take it home. This activity is intended for children ages 5 and up.
$12 per participant

Saturdays and Sundays

• 10:00 am – Noon
• 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
• 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
• 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Base price for a birthday party:

• Members: $350
• Non-Members: $400

Additional guests:
$6 per person (children and adults)

Maximum 40 guests total – larger parties may be accommodated depending on room availability

Bean Sprouts, the hip & healthy café at the Children’s Museum, offers a catering menu to order food for your birthday party, including pizzas, sandwiches, fruit platters, drinks and more.

Guests may coordinate with the museum to bring in their own food, or have it delivered to the museum, for their party.  Cooking appliances, crockpots and open flames are not permitted.

• Third Floor Conference Room – 30 guest maximum capacity
