Bring the Museum Experience to Your Home!
We're excited to announce more than 100 virtual, hands-on workshops for different age groups, led by Museum Educators and focusing on art-making, engineering, science and more.
Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh believes that cost should never be a barrier to inspiring kindness, joy, creativity and curiosity. We offer a sliding scale ticket price model to accommodate all learners.
What is a Sliding Scale?
Sliding scale is a payment model that offers a range of suggested costs so that a program is more accessible to a wider group of income levels. If you are in a financial position to cover your own participation plus the cost of another participant, you may select to ‘pay-it-forward’ and pay more than the standard price of the workshop. If you are able to cover the cost of your participation, you may choose the standard price -- this covers the cost of time that goes into planning and teaching each workshop. If you are able to commit to attending the workshop, but not able to commit to the cost, you may select the no-cost option. Whichever you choose, we are looking forward to learning with you!
Please check each event on our online Calendar of Events for specifics on ticket price, supplies and registration deadlines.
