Sensory Friendly Programs

Join us for a sensory friendly Halloween party!

This all-ages program is designed especially for children and adults who have sensory sensitivities, which may be related to Autism or other developmental differences. The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh is a judgement free environment where everyone is welcome to play together. Everyone is welcome to come party!

Doors open at 5pm for treat bag decorating, a fortune teller, do-it-yourself face painting and adaptive dance lessons. At 5:30pm the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre steps off a costume parade to start the party. Trick-or-treat for fidgets and toys, explore the Silly Science Lab, visit the Art Studio and MAKESHOP for Halloween making and art. Join DJ Julia at 6:30pm to dance the night away.
