MAKESHOP: Meet the Maker – Dick Esterle

Join us in MAKESHOP to meet and create with Dick Esterle, the artist behind Space Chips. Explore geometric shapes and color to build collaborative cardboard sculptures.

Workshop: Soft Soldering (Ages 10+)

NEW TIME: This workshop has been moved to 3pm due to the Pittsburgh Marathon taking place on the morning of the May 5.

Explore sculptural soldering using copper tape, lead-free solder, copper wire, and soldering irons. Create a pendant, pin, or sculpture.  

This workshop is for youth Ages 10+.

All materials will be provided, but participants may choose to bring small, non-melting items such as seashells, ceramic or metal figurines, marbles, beach glass, etc. to use during the workshop.

Workshops for Ages 10+ will meet in the Lobby of MuseumLab.
