Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive
November 7 - December 16, 2019
In the spirit of Fred Rogers' lessons of helping others, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh holds an annual Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive each fall. Since 2000, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh has collected more than 40,000 sweaters, distributing them to families in need throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Our 2019 Sweater Drive kicked off November 7 and donors can drop off their new or gently-used, adult and child-sized sweaters, sharing the feeling of warmth with neighbors-in-need, through December 16.
Our Sweater Drive Partners include the Presbyterian Churches of the Tri-State Area, The Homeless Children’s Education Fund, the Veterans Leadership Program of Western PA and other nonprofit agencies that work with families and children in the region.
