Annual Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive

In the spirit of Fred Rogers' lessons of helping others, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh holds an annual Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive each winter. Since 2001, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh has collected more than 39,000 sweaters, distributing them to families in need throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Community organizations partnering with the Children's Museum for the 2016 Sweater Drive include the Presbyterian Churches of the Tri-State Area, The Homeless Children’s Education Fund, Veteran’s Leadership Program of Western PA, and Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh Ambassadors: Kids at Heart.
