art studio: mosaics with sarah cohen

Join artist Sarah Cohen for an interactive mosaic making experience! Sarah Cohen is an artist who uses glass mosaic as her tool to convey images of nature. By creating landscapes made from glass, Sarah hopes people connect to the world again with awe. When working on a group project, mosaics are like a quilter’s circle and connect us back together. Drawing inspiration from squash, beans and corn, otherwise known as the Three Sisters crops, we will create and explore the connections between art and the natural world. This is the first of Sarah’s two visits with us in the Art Studio.
