Natural Dye Workshop (ages 10+)

Have you ever wondered how your clothes get their color? In this two-hour workshop for ages 10-14, you will harvest dye plants, make your own natural dye, try out two different methods of dyeing, and explore the history and chemistry of fabric dyeing. Each participant will go home with a silk scarf, a cotton tote bag, and a sample of the dye they made from scratch.
