STUDIO: Comics!

Join us this week as we explore comics in the Studio! Comics are short stories told through pictures and words. What sort of pictures will you use? Will there be words? What kind of story do you want to tell? Pop on down to the Studio and explore!

Sometimes a story is called a NARRATIVE. How many ways can you think of to tell a story? Can you imagine telling a story without using any words? Throughout history, artists have been telling stories with their voices, images, and bodies. Many of the first humans told stories without any words at all, just pictures! This month in the studio, we’ll be exploring ways to tell stories in new and old ways.
