12th Annual Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive Kicks Off
Helps bring warmth to Southwestern Pennsylvania families in need
PITTSBURGH, PA (November 7, 2011) – The twelfth annual Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive kicked off this morning with a special visit from everyone’s favorite speedy delivery man Mr. McFeely and the Neighborhood of Make-Believe’s cuddly Purple Panda. 84 students Saint Killian Parish School in Cranberry Township took part in the event.
Donors are encouraged make their contributions through December 18 in order to provide sweaters in time for the holidays. Donors can drop off gently used adult- and child-sized sweaters in receptacles in the Children's Museum’s lobby on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
The sweaters will benefit local families throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania and the surrounding region thanks to a collaboration with the United Way of Allegheny County and the Presbyterian Churches of the Tri State Area,

Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is located at 10 Children’s Way in Allegheny Square on Pittsburgh’s historic North Side, just a block from the National Aviary and 3 blocks from PNC Park.
