A program for local children ages 0–5 and their families to discover the words that are all around them.
Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is proud to be a part of Buzzword PGH, a cultural collaborative that supports children age 0–5 and their caregivers in literacy and learning.
Along with the Children’s Museum, the collaborative consists of Carnegie Science Center, Greater Hazelwood Family Center, Kingsley Association, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Festival Opera, Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and YMCA Homewood-Brushton Branch, with administrative support from Trying Together and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
Since 2014, the Buzzword collaborative has provided free interactive learning programs in the Homewood neighborhood and at family festivals throughout the city.
